TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. CAKE DESIGN - Any cake ordered from a picture of a cake produced elsewhere can be reproduced as an interpretation and will not be a replica. Please be aware that copyright protects some designs and they therefore cannot be copied.
2. TASTING - Cake tastings can be provided only with wedding cake orders. please mention any flavours you would like to sample (6 max). There is a charge of £20 which will be deducted from your bill only if you place an order. 
3. PORTION AMOUNTS - Portion amounts are estimated. Carved cakes and method of slicing may affect the total portion number given please order products accordingly after having considered these variables. Kitz Treatz can provide cake cutting guides. (except for carved cakes)
4. ORDERS - One-month notice for celebration cakes, Two-month notice is needed for wedding cakes.
Kitz Treatz may be able to accommodate late cake orders due within 7 days depending on the design and availability of the date, there will be a fee of £15 for any cake due within 7 days or less. Any late order will require full payment on ordering.
5. DEPOSITS - All deposits become due on receiving the invoice. Quotes are held for 3 days after this time the date will be available to book by others. Orders are NOT booked until deposit has been received. 
   * Celebration cakes require A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total, 60% for Wedding cakes. 
The balance left can be paid via direct transfer the day before delivery is made, for your wedding cakes 14 days before due date. If the balance is not received your order will not be released until payment has been received in full if no communication is made the cancellation policy will apply. Kitz Treatz reserve the right to refuse your trade with the loss of your order and any money paid towards it. Kitz Treatz accepts no responsibility for any loss caused or non-delivery.
6. CANCELLATION - If you cancel your order deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, Orders will be cancelled after attempts to contact you has failed and the balance is outstanding. The unlikely event that Kitz Treatz need to cancel your order any deposits paid will be FULLY REFUNDED.
7. CAKE DESIGN CHANGES - Please take the time to check the details of your order carefully. Kitz Treatz will try and accommodate any changes where possible but cannot guarantee and reserve the right to increase the price quoted for any extra work required. No changes can be made within 5 days of the delivery/collection date for celebration cakes or within 2 weeks of the wedding date.
8. CHANGE OF DATE - If you need to re-arrange your date, Kitz Treatz will try our best to accommodate these changes, provided sufficient notice is given for the re-arranged date but CANNOT GUARANTEE to be able to do so, please bear this in mind when ordering.
9. DELIVERY - Delivery should be arranged at the time of ordering or as soon after. 
   * Delivery is free within 3 miles outside of this will be a charge per mile. Distances are calculated using              Google maps. 
   * long-distance delivery will be charged by the cost of petrol needed. Calculated with

Please ensure you have provided the correct delivery information and that the recipient/venue is available to receive your order, you will be billed for the time at a rate of £10 per 10 minutes waited, after 20 minutes your order will be returned and you will have to contact Kitz Treatz to arrange alternative arrangements, a charge may be payable if re-delivery can be made.
10.SET UP - While trying to ensure that your cake is presented looking its best, please ensure the stability or levelness of the table the cake is displayed or the quality of the surrounding around the cake is level and sturdy. Please also remember chocolate covered cakes can melt under extreme heat. If the cake is to be set up by the venue Kitz Treatz will leave instructions on how it is to be displayed and obtain picture evidence of the cake before handing over to verify it has been left in good condition. Once delivered Kitz Treatz is not responsible for any interference or damage to the cake.
11. NON- EDIBLES - Your order may contain some non-edible items such as ribbons, artificial flowers, or wires in sugar flowers. Information will be found either by a label on the box or note inside to make you aware of any non-edible items that must be removed before serving the cake. 
12.QUALITY & STORAGE - Cakes will be baked as close to the date as possible. My Business advises that all food must be consumed within 24 hrs. Any food consumed after 24 hrs or later is at the client’s discretion. The responsibility of consumption lies with the customer and, therefore, indemnifies Kitz Treatz of all liability.
13. EXEMPTION - If damage does occur at the fault of my business, a partial or full refund may be given, determined on an individual basis, Proof must be provided immediately. Please be aware that specific designs are more structurally sensitive so improper handling can lead to damage. If all precautions have been taken by us to provide you with a good structural support; no liability will be accepted for any damage that occurs once in the customer's possession. Refunds may be offered at the discretion of Kitz Treatz which are only taken into consideration in circumstances where there is an obvious reason to do so. Cake taste, texture and design are not subjective. No refunds will be given in any circumstance for the above-mentioned.If for some reason my product has been determined to have not met my standards I will then discuss a refund.
